Hello, I know this posting is verry old but painted shells are HORRIBLE!! 1. There toxic
and when it chips off in the bedding or water you hermit crabs will eat it.
2. Hermit crabs are forced into painted shells and when they first get forced in the breath
in the paint fumes wich is HORRIBLE!
