Yes Jordan. Larger crabs tend to be slower and less agressive. I guess in the same way that humans slow down when we get older. Reflexes seem to slow too. It is normal for them to grab something in their claw, and the calm hermie action is due to his age. Enjoy him! He deserves a happy ending! :o)
