Hermit Crab Care

re: unfinished - Sabrina Cameron - 8/19/2005
I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Hubbys grandmother has gotten bad again and so been running alot with her this week. She passed away last night and so only will be running Saturday, not sure about Sunday and Monday is the funeral. I will check in when times are avaible that I can.

As far as your hermie buring and being up in a week. Alot of times, it depends on the size of the hermies and how fast they can go thru their molt process. Have you checked your hermie and looked to see if all legs have sharp black spikey tips? If they are all very sharp, then more then likely he did molt. I have several that will molt and up in less then a week. My micros that I have will molt and be up in 3 to 4 days.. lol.. Since you are not sure if he molted and finished his exo, I would make sure and have some sort of calcium source for them in the tank, cuttlebone, eggshells, sea biscuit, sand dollar.. whatever you have and want to use..

If does have the sharp spikes.. Congrats on the successful molt..
Sabrina
