Good advice Sabrina.

Do your hermies have shells to choose from in the tank? It could be that the one likes the other's shell and would like to have it for him/herself too. If you do not leave shells in the tank for them you can try to, or you can also give them the bath, then place them in a tub with some to choose from. This will usually be the case with my hermies (wanting a new shell) and usually this method works for me.
