Hermie molting and sharing exo. on the 4th! - Mommy of Many - 7/5/2005
Hi everyone! Did you have a good 4th of July? We did! It was my Hubby's sisters birthday too and it ended up being a wonderful day!

Yesterday I had a hermie molt above sand. He molted, then left his place to dig down under. The silly guy gave his exo to his buddies, but I didn't think that this was such a good idea, so we gave it back to him and he is all alone now. He had been digging under every day for about two weeks now to get ready, and I think he just got impatient and gave up on the idea. lol! It looks like it snuck up on him! OKay.. Maybe not, but that is the way that it seemed.
All of his buddies really enjoyed his generosity, and they seem to miss him very much now. He is not the biggest, but one of the big guys that liked to hang out with the little ones. I keep telling the others that he will be back soon, but I still don't think they like it... :o)
