You need to put it in a cage by its self. give it its own water dish, and food dish, put its exoskeleton in the cage with it. then leave it alone. do not spray it with water or give it a bath. do not pick it up after it is in its new cage. make sure that you have sand in the bottom of your molting cage, not rocks. rocks will cut your newly molted crab and can kill it. a good food for your crab is sun dried shrimp.
